• Payment information: Billing address and payment method details (processed securely by our third-party payment processor)

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the Platform, and interaction patterns
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and screen resolution
• Log data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and error logs

• Background check and verification results (for vendor accounts)

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With other Platform users: Vendor profiles are visible to clients; bid information is shared with the relevant RFP poster; messages are delivered to recipients
• Service providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Platform (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, background checks)
• Legal compliance: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• Safety and security: To protect the rights, property, or safety of NSN, our users, or the public
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (users will be notified)

Our current third-party service providers include: Paddle (payment processing), Render (hosting and deployment), Neon (database), Upstash (caching), and Sentry (error monitoring). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we may retain certain data as required by law, for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes, enforcing agreements), or as part of anonymized/aggregated datasets.

Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure. Transaction and billing records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes. Anonymized and aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Regular security assessments and vulnerability testing
• Access controls and authentication requirements
• Employee training on data protection practices

We use essential cookies for authentication and platform functionality. We do not currently use third-party analytics or marketing tracking tools.

We do not sell personal information.

To submit a CCPA request, contact us at customersupport@nationwidesecuritynetwork.com. We do not sell personal information and do not meet the revenue or data volume thresholds that trigger full CCPA obligations, but we honor all consumer rights requests regardless.

10. International Users

The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

The Platform is intended for users in the United States. We do not specifically target users in the EU, EEA, or UK. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

11. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
